What is the difference between a Preset and a Profile?

A Preset allows you to select a Theater, a Profile, Triggers and a preferred upmix at the same time. You can also add Audio Zones as a simultaneous output path when selecting a Preset. You can create multiple Presets for a Theater.

A Profile is created within a Theater. You can save multiple Profiles for different listening preferences with specific speakers settings. A Profile includes: speaker definition (multi-way, levels, delays), bass management, manual EQ, and Dirac filter design if applied.
