Here is how to enable and configure the Adaptive Loudness in our processors.

By default, the Reference Level is set at -30dB for all new theaters created in 4.6r1. For previously created theaters, the reference was set at -40dB.
Make sure to set your Reference Level before using the Adaptive Loudness.

  1. Set your Volume Reference in your theater. This should be the natural volume you used to calibrate your unit. At this volume, the Adaptive Loudness effect is null. Lower than this level, the bass level will be increased, higher than this level the bass level will be slightly decreased. The effect being stronger the further away you are from the Reference Level.

  2. Enable the Adaptive Loudness in the Remote Control. You can select between 3 modes. Each has its own strength on the frequency curves applied:

    1. Low

    2. Medium

    3. Full
