How to update your ISP to the latest firmware.

Prerequisites

Download the latest firmware from the Client Portal. The firmware name should be: isp_[version].ssp.

Your ISP needs to be powered on and connected to your LAN.

You need to access the ISP’s installer WebUI.

If the current version of your ISP is older than 3.5r7, you need to first upgrade your device to firmware 3.5r7 before you can update to 4.0r1 and newer versions. Firmware 3.5r7 and newer versions are available in the Client Portal.

After upgrading from older versions to 3.5r7, you need to adjust your Channel Setup for Dirac to group Multi-way or Active speakers channels.

If you’re currently using a firmware version earlier than 2.1r0, contact the Support Team to update your ISP.

Instructions

  1. Check your Firmware version in the WebUI.

  2. Perform a Configuration Backup to restore after the upgrade if you want to keep your ISP configuration.

  3. Press the “Firmware Upgrade” button and a pop-up window will show up.

  4. Select the .ssp file you downloaded earlier from your computer.

  5. Press Upload to start the update. After a few minutes your ISP will reboot using the new firmware.

  6. Make sure to Restore your configuration after the update is complete.
