Remote Firmware Update

Here is a quick guide on how to update your ISP to the latest firmware.

Prerequisites

Download the latest firmware from the Client Portal. The firmware name should be: isp_[version].ssp.

Your ISP needs to be powered on and connected to your LAN.

You need to access the ISP’s installer WebUI.

Your ISP needs to be updated to the 3.5r7 firmware before updating to 4.0r1 and above versions. It is also available in the Client Portal.

You then must adjust your Channel Setup for Dirac to group Multi-way or Active speakers channels. (Maybe do a KB article about that)

If you’re currently using a firmware version earlier than 2.1r0, contact the Support Team to update your ISP.

Check your Firmware version in the WebUI.
Perform a Configuration Backup to restore after the upgrade if you want to keep your previous ISP configuration.
Press the “Firmware Upgrade” button and a pop-up window will show up.
Select the .ssp file you downloaded earlier from your computer.
Press Upload to start the update. After a few minutes your ISP will reboot using the new firmware.
Make sure to Restore your configuration after the update is complete.
