Preset shows in red - warning

Your Preset is shown in red on the front panel and/or the WebUI when:

  1. You’re editing a Theater speaker page

  2. You’re manually switching profiles from the installer’s WebUI header. If the profile you select is not the one associated with the current preset, the preset will appear red to warn you about the inconsistency with the preset configuration.

Best practice for profile selection is to bind them to a preset and then select presets rather than profiles. You can create multiple Presets for the same Theater using different Profiles for each.

This way the end user can easily change profiles by selecting presets in the remote control page. This page does not allow for profile selection, only presets. This is also true for all other traditional means of control (home automation, phone apps and IR).
