REW - Filter importation
Here is how to import a REW filter for a speaker in the ISP.
Prerequisites
Your ISP must be powered ON, up-to-date and connected to your LAN.
Your computer has to be connected to the same LAN.
Download Room EQ Wizard software from their website and open the app.
This guide will not describe the EQ design in REW, only the export of the file to be imported in the ISP.
Instructions
Go to EQ in REW.
In “Equaliser”, select StormAudio.
Design the EQ filter you want using REW.
When done, select “Export filter settings as text in “Filter Tasks”. Save the file with a recognizable name.
Go to your ISP installer’s WebUI. Enter the “Main speakers” tab.
Enter the Theater/Zone containing the channel you want to EQ. Go into the EQ settings of the channel.
Select “REW import” and import the file you created with REW earlier (.txt).
Select “Add to EQ” to add the filters to the current EQ in the channel. Select “Replace By REW EQs” to remove previous equalization on the channel and only add the current REW EQs.
Save the EQ in the channel then exit the Theater/Zone.
Your EQ is now applied to the channel.
You can easily copy an EQ to other channels/profiles from the WebUI
