ISP without a LAN - Direct connection
You can configure your processor using only a RJ45 Ethernet cable between your computer and your ISP.
A direct connection to your ISP may be preferred if:

You don’t want to use the LAN to connect to your ISP
You are having trouble with your remote access to the ISP, and you suspect your LAN might be the issue
Using this method of connection revokes TCP/IP control of the ISP : you won’t be able to use a Home Automation System or the StormRemote app as you won’t be connected to the network.
